Oh, by all that is holy and all that isn't: YES!! I haven't seen a character so racially offensive since they stopped doing blackface in the movies.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the "Speed Racer in the Desert" Star Wars movie in `99, I wanted to throw my soda at that character. I told my friend (who was a major SW freak) that I'd only go see the next two if she could assure me that they included a graphic scene where Jar-Jar got slaughtered.
Worst character EVER!
